MEETING ON JORDAN
No Agreement Apparent (N.Z.PJL.-Keuter—Copyright) CAIRO. Dec. 2«. The Chief of Staff at the armed forces of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Syria ended a two-day meeting at Cairo yesterday on the crucial question of stationing Saudi and Iraqi troops in Jordan. According to Arab League officials, the meeting ended earlie- than expected and It appeared that no agreement was reached. The Chiefs of Staff had been discussing measures for the deployment of their forces in positions allotted to them by the Arab unified command, and steps to co-ordinate cooperation between Arab armies.
