King Of The Mountains
Canterbury’s “King of the Mountains" race will be decided over a 7i-mile course on the Port Hills tomorrow.
Although some of the provinces leading road runners are away on holiday, a reasonably strong field is expected to face the starter at the Sign of the Taka he.

This will be the first time that such an event has been held in Canterbury, although King of the Mountains” road running races have been regular features of Auckland and other North Island athletic centres for some years. It is hoped to make the event an annual one.
