‘A Good Time’
“Where are the reports? I want to see what they’re doing at all these conferences,” said Miss M. B. Howard at yesterday’s meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Board.
She was referring to a finance committee report that reports had been received from staff who had attended the hospital engineers* conference, Society of Radiographers’ conference, a hospital
works superintendents’ conference, hosptal pharmacists’ conference and a conference of the Hospital Officers’ Association.
“They come back after having a good time, but we never see their reports,” Miss Howard complained.
“We will post you a photo-copy of each one,” the chairman (Dr. L. C. L. Averill) told Miss Howard.
