Irrigation Of Crops
The Methven Young Farmers’ Club will be holding an open field day on the Lyndhurst property of Mr G. B. Henderson, the A. C. Cameron memorial award winner, at 1.30 pan. on Monday, December 19. Irrigation will be one of the main subjects of discussion during the afternoon with the emphasis being placed on irrigation of crops. Among those in attendance will be Professor J. D. Stewart, of Lincoln College, and Messrs W. R. Lobb and C. P. Whatman, of the Department of Agriculture. Visitors are asked to bring a cup.
