POST-GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS FOR RESEARCH IN RADIATION BIOPHYSICS UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO APPLICATIONS are invited for Fellowships, which are open to candidates who wish to pursue research on some basic aspect of radiation biophysics or biology in relation to cancer. The Fellowship will be held in the Department of Microbiology and the Radiation Biology Unit. Applicants for the Fellowship should have completed, or be undertaking, work in Physics for the degree of Master of Science with Honours or Bachelor of Science with Honours. The holder of the Fellowship i may enrol for the degree of : Ph D. The value of the Fellowship is £l5O per annum. It is tenable for two years, but may be extended for a third year. The Lecturer’s specific responsibilities will centre mainly on the planning, designing, and teaching of courses of Agricultural Economics to students reading for the Diploma in Agriculture and the Diploma in Valuation and Farm Management, together with participation in the general teaching and research programme of the Department and the associated Agricultural Economics Research Unit. Opportunities are available for an appointee to read for a higher degree. Candidates should hold a degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Commerce, or Agriculture with subsequent experience of Economics, Commerce, or advisory work. It is expected that the appointee would commence duties in late 1967 in order to plan courses for academic year commencing March, 1968.
