Dunedin Wool 40.6d lb
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Dec. 9. An average price of 40.57 d per lb compared with 44.16 d at the November sale last year, was realised at the oneday Dunedin wool sale on November 30, the Dunedin Stock Agents and Woolbrokers’ Association reports. Gross proceeds of the sale were £1,314,877 15s 6d for 23,180 bales sold. At the 1965 November sale the gross proceeds were £1,400,240 18s Id for 23,598 bales sold. The sale gave an average price a bale of £56 14s 6d compared with £59 6s 9d in November, 1965.
