Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, December 9. An outbreak of hand, foot, and mouth disease has occurred in the East Grinstead area of Sussex. Although the illness is not notifiable, one adult and several children are known to be affected. The disease is similar to the foot-and-mouth disease caught by animals, and is equally infectious, though more of a nuisance than injurious.
