Resolution By U.N. (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW YORK, Dec. 9. Britain has been asked to grant independence to her Pacific colony of Fiji without delay, under a new resolution approved by the United Nations General Assembly trusteeship committee. The committee also agreed yesterday that the United Nations should send a mission to Fiji to assess at first hand the situation there.
