GOING TO VIETNAM
‘Miss World’ To Entertain
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7.
“Miss World"—lndia’s Reita Faria—will go to Vietnam to entertain American soldiers, in spite of the apparent opposition of the Indian Government, said the comedian, Bob Hope. A statement said Miss Faria telephoned Bob Hope from London yesterday, saying she plans to arrive in Los Angeles on December 14.- The Hope troupe is scheduled to leave for Vietnam on December 16. Miss Faria said she had never changed her mind about going to Vietnam, Bob Hope said, and that the Indian reaction was probably caused by the forthcoming elections there.
