CHRIST’S COLLEGE

Winners Of Prizes "It seems very important to me that independent schools should remain independent” said the headmaster of Christ’s College (Mr N. A. H. Creese) at the school prizegiving ceremony. “What makes the retention of Christ's College worth while?”

“It is a boarding school.” he said. “To some parents there is no alternative to a boarding school. “It will remain desirable only as long as it is animated by certain principles and ideals. It is a place of moral and religious as well as mental education.” Mr Creese said this was not an easy position to maintain.
