Central Mission Appeal

Sir, —Once again workers from the Central Mission will be distributing Christmas gifts to the aged, lonely, and sick. Families of deserted wives and others on small incomes will be remembered. 1 invite your readers to contribute to the Mission’s Christmas appeal. Gifts of foodstuffs, sweets, toys, clothing, or cash may be sent to P.O. Box 1449, Christchurch, or 209 Cambridge terrace. I extend Christmas greetings to all who have supported our various social service enterprises during the year. May the joy that is ours as we serve be theirs through the knowledge that they have helped to make possible the practical expression of Christmas goodwill as represented by the Central Mission.— Yours, etc., W. E. FALKINGHAM, Superintendent, Christchurch Central Mission. December 6, 1966.
