CREDITORS’ MEETING
Debts £BBB, No Assets
As a quorum was not present, a meeting of creditors of Sidney George Isherwood, a factory worker, of 475 Cashel street, was adjourned sine die. Isherwood, who was adjudged bankrupt on November 17, owes unsecured creditors £BBB 10s 7d, and in his statement said he had no assets. Isherwood had been previously adjudged bankrupt on June 23, 1955. The reasons he gave for his present state of bankrupcy were medical expenses, housing problems and the death of two bitches and a dog he had been hoping to breed. Isherwood said that an operation for a broken jaw on himself, and for a hernia on his five-year-old son, combined with the birth of his youngest son had necessitated time off work and expenses. The lease for the house tn which they were living, and which he had signed proved to be invalid and he and his family bad to find other accommodation, Isherwood said. He had been breeding dogs and had expected between £2OO and £3OO for the pups when the bitches and one of the dogs died. One of the bitches died with a litter of pups, Isherwood said. He could not find a buyer for the other dog. £
