Results Should “Be In Line”
A. and T. Burt, Ltd., Dun-edin-based plumbing, heating and ventilation engineer, expects its results for the current year to be in line with last year’s, say directors in their interim report. They have declared a steady interim dividend of 3 per cent on ordinary and preference shares, payable February 16. Last year profit rose 7.4 per cent to £225,170. Total dividend was raised from 10 to 10) per cent Although sales for the six months have again shown a slight increase .trading conditions are not quite so buoyant as last year, directors say. Costs have increased, reflecting a rise in expenses.
