Frogs From Hungary
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BUDAPEST. Hungarian trade officials expect the export of edible snails to reach a record of 800 tons this year, 100 tons better than last year. The princi- ■ pal buyers are France and Switzerland, and West Ger(many recently joined as a customer. Hungarian frogs are also in demand in France and Switzerland. Trade officials say that some 2,500,000 frogs, sent live by special train, are expected to be exported by the end of this year.
