4 Hurt On Roads
The rider of a motor scooter, Christine Carter, of 34 Suffolk street, suffered moderately serious leg in juries when she hit a parked car in Wilsons road last even ing. She was admitted to the Burwood Hospital. Daniel Gilbert Williamson and Elaine May Williamson, of 117 Woodham road, were injured when the car they were in left the road and went into a ditch about a mile south of Woodend about 7.15 p.m. Mr Williamson suffered moderately serious head and leg injuries and shock. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Elaine Williamson was treated for head and leg injuries and discharged. A child, Baden Kidd, of 924 Avonside drive, suffered head injuries when he was hit by a car in Avonside drive about 5 p.m. He was ad mitted to the Christchurch Hospital where his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
