RESULT CARDS

Posting To Be Quick Examination results of the University of Canterbury printed this morning included all but six subjects of the bachelor of laws examination, the Vice-Chancellor (Professor N. C. Phillips) told the University Council yesterday.

Eighty per cent of official result cards would be posted yesterday or today, he said and others (including law and engineering) would be posted as soon as possible. Professor Phillips displayed the improved form of result notification with separate slips for each subject. These are printed by machine.

With the result cards would be posted pre-enrolment applications for next year. Recommended continuing courses in fine arts and engineering would also be included when applicable, The Vice-Chancellor paid a tribute to the records officer (Mr A. Maccoll) for his industry in devising and executing the scheme for making official notifications so promptly.
