CHARGE DENIED

A. -Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA, Dec. 5. the former Indonesian Air Force Chief ViceMarshal Omar Dhani, denied that he had provided the Indonesian Communist Party with an opportunity to stage a coup, and said he had no intention of overthrowing the Government. Vice-Marshal Dhani, who went on trial for his life today for alleged complicity in last year’s abortive Communist coup, arrived at the Court in a special armoured van with a heavy armed escort. Bren-gun carriers patrolled surrounding streets, sealed off by barbed wire barricades from early morning.
