Westburn Hall
A tender has been accepted to build the community hall at the Westburn School, the first of its type in Christchurch, and work will start early next year. A fund of £12,000 —£4000 each from the Golden Kiwi Lottery Board, the Education Department, and the Housing Division of the Ministry of Works—will enable the hall to serve both school and community needs.
