DIABETES SURVEY
The major Rangiora diabetes survey will be held on the first four Saturdays of April, 1967. If the co-opera-tion and enthusiasm of the people involved in the pilot scheme last Saturday are any indication, the planned survey should be highly successful, the chairman of the Rangiora Diabetes Survey Committee (Dr. A. P. Cotter) says in a letter to “The Press” on behalf of the committee. Dr. Cotter expresses his appreciation for the co-opera-tion of all those who assisted with the pilot survey on December 3. “Although it is invidious to single out individuals or organisations from among the many who have so freely assisted, this survey would not have been possible without the trust of the Canterbury Savings Bank, who financed the scheme, the service clubs erf Rangiora and the Christchurch Diabetic Society, and in particular Mr A. Scoggins who was largely responsible for the individual and detailed planning,” he says.
