Christmas Play
In place of their customary pantomime, the Riccarton Players will present a Christmas play, “The Holly and the Ivy,” by Wynyard Browne, as their final production for the year. David Penney is the guest producer. The play will open this evening in the Riccarton Town Hall and continue till Saturday. Next year the players plan “Norman” as their first play, with John Gilberthorpe producing. Other plans are for a further entry in the British Drama League Festival, a three-act play in August, and a pantomime produced by Taura Henderson.
