UNHURT UNDER TRAIN
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Dec. 4. A 19-y ear-old soldier who fell from a moving train between the platform and rail at Palmerston North railway station last night was practically unhurt after four carriages had passed over him.
Private R. G. Ramsdale, of Burnham Military Camp, lay with arms and legs outstretched while the wheels of the train passed by. He slipped while jumping off the moving train to run to the refreshment stall, and was partly stunned by a knock from a step of the moving carriage.
