Postponed To Today Calvados Likely At Beaumont

The heavy rain which forced the postponement of the Beaumont Racing Club’s meeting from Saturday to today has brought Calvados into even stronger favour for the W. B. Naylor Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double. Calvados has shown his best form on soft tracks and today's footing should suit him admirably. The weather at Beaumont yesterday was fine and the track has made a good recovery. The weather is now expected to continue fine today.
