Fairlie’s Game Deferred
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MELBOURNE The New Zealander, B. E. Eairlie yesterday had his Victorian junior boys’ championship final with the Queensland player, D Smith, deferred until today. Fairlie was to have played Smith yesterday but when Smith telephoned the Kooyong courts he was told he would not be playing. He did not arrive. The Australian selectors are awaiting the outcome of this match before announcing the Australian team for the junior Davis Cup in Miami, Florida, later this month Smith is one of the contenders.
