Three Men Killed In Road Accidents
Three men were killed in separate road accidents at the week-end, two of them when cars hit poles, the Press Association reported.
A 16-year-old youth died in Middlemore Hospital yesterday of multiple injuries suffered when the car he was driving crashed into a power pole on the Great North road at Takanini at 2.40 a.m. He was John Renwick, of 50 Jellicoe road, Manurewa. A 49-year-old Englishman was killed when a car smashed into a power pole on the Hutt road about 12.45 a.m. on Saturday. He was

Murphy, aged 24, who was a passenger in the car Giles was driving, escaped with minor injuries. Car Overturned I A young man died in Dunejdin Hospital at 6.30 a.m. yesterday after his car overturned on the Dunedin-Port Chalmers road at 6 p.m. on Saturday. He was Kenneth Waters, aged 20, of 68 David street, Dunedin. : A passenger in the car, [Jennifer Broadley, aged 18, of 'Sawyers Bay, was also admitted to Dunedin Hospital I with injuries. Her condition I last night was satisfactory.
