Clean-up At Lyttelton
The Lyttelton Borough Council has appealed for a cleanliness campaign in the port’s streets. According to its latest newsletter, there Is a con* slant battle against discarded wrapping and paper litter. Although the main streets of the borough are swept seven days a week, the litter still grows. All citizens are asked to take pride in keeping a well-kept town. Brightly painted signs, “Keep Your Town Clean,” will be erected.
