BITTEN BY PONIES
Three children were treated at the Christchurch Hospital yesterday afternoon for bites inflicted by circus ponies. The children were bitten while they were playing with the Shetland ponies during a charity show at Ashton’s Circus in Hagley Park, organised by the Christchurch Lions Club to raise funds for Birthright A 15-year-old girl suffered surface abrasions on her chest, and two smalt boys suffered similar injuries, on an arm and leg, respectively.
