4000 Watch Execution (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SANNA, (Yemen), Dec. 4. Five men were publicly executed by a firing squad in Sanna yesterday 15 mimites after the High Security Court had pronounced the death sentence. Later the five corpses, which included a major-general in the Royalist Army, were put on exhibition at the Bab Elyaman gate—one of the old entrances to the town.
A crowd of 4000 gathered to watch the mass execution. The five Yemenis had been found guilty of subversion against the Yemen Republic.
