Zoo Consignment

A keeper from the Auckland Zoo will fly to Sydney soon to supervise the transport of one of the largest collections of animals to be brought to the zoo in a single consignment. The animals, which have been bought from the Taronga Park Zoo include a pair of African antelopes and three Indian antelopes, three Barbary sheep, three white-tailed deer, and a female hippopotamus to replace the one which died recently. The cost, including shipping, is expected to be £l5OO.
