P. C. Gallagher’s horseman’s licence was suspended until December 24, inclusive, after an inquiry into the breaking of Cavalier Potts with four furtongs and a half left in the First Temuka Handicap at Orari yesterday. Gallagher, the driver of Mighty Batten, was found guilty of careless driving causing interference. G. A. Laing, the trainer of Copper Khan, A. L. Pratt, the trainer of Double Step, and A. W.
