HE DID TRY.—The Swedish tennis player, B. Folke, did not quite manage to clear the net after racing to reach a drop shot in his match against the Victorian player, J. Stephens, in the State title tournament at Kooyong, Melbourne. He fell heavily. Stephens won the match in four sets.
