Mirage Jet Crashes
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) MARSEILLES, November 28. The latest prototype of France’s vertical take-off plane, the Mirage IH-V, crashed during trials at the Istres Testing Centre today and was destroyed. The pilot escaped by using his ejector seat. It was the third accident involving prototypes of the vertical take-off and landing aircraft.
