Pay Increases In [ J New Award (N.Z. Press Association) I WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Industrial mechanics have . been granted increases in ■ their minimum wage rates in ( a new award issued by the , Arbitration Court. • Top-grade tradesmen have received 23s 3d a week in- ’ crease, making their weekly ' minimum wage £l7 8s 4d. ’ Dther tradesmen have re- ■ ceived a 21s increase. 1 All other adult workers 1 have been granted 16s 3d a ■ week increase. . The bicycle allowance has 1 been increased from 3s 6d to > 4s per week. : The wage increases are retrospective to November 1.
