‘COLOSSAL’ INCREASE
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, November 24. Radioactive fall-out in Sydney’s rainfall since the French nuclear tests to the Pacific has risen markedly. Tests at the University of New South Wales on rainfall samples show that since June the content- of radioactive caesium 137 has jumped about 150-fold and the content of radioactive cerium 144 about 40-fold.
