Bonus For Safety
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, November 24. A Sydney Insurance company today announced reductions up to 55 per cent in car insurance premiums. The reductions aim at encouraging safer driving. They will increase noclaim bonuses to 55 per cent after four years of accident-free driving.
The new rates will come into force immediately. The company’s agency manager said the rates now ranged from a 25 per cent reduction for one year free of accident, to 55 per cent after four years.
The company’s cut is 5 per cent better than similar reductions announced last month by another insurance company.
