“No Appeal Ground” The secretary of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board felt, as the City Solicitor did. that there was no jurisdiction to entertain an appeal by three Opawa residents against the council’s decision allowing the erection of broadcasting and television studios and offices in land off Butler street, the town planning committee reported to the City Council on Mondayevening. As the subject of a purported appeal appeared to be a matter to which the openfive section of the council s district scheme applied, no appeal would lie under Sec tion 38 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Act, the secretary wrote.
