ADDITIONAL BURSARY

New Form VI Examination (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 22. This week 3007 sixth form pupils throughout New Zealand will sit a new bursary examination for an additional allowance for university studies of up to £5O per annum.

The allowances—£so for those who score more than 250 marks out of 500, and £3O for those who score 200—will supplement the Higher School Certificate bursary. Lower sixth form pupils can now sit either University Entrance or aim for a high pass in the bursary exam, and upper sixth form pupils can sit the bursary or the scholarship exam in addition to being eligible for Higher School Certificate.
