Six Applications Adjourned
Six applications to have been heard yesterday by the Licensing Authority for the Christchurch Transport District (Mr J. S. Haywood) were adjourned until December 15. The application for the adjournment was made by Mr H. W. Hunter on behalf of other counsel. In granting the request, Mr Haywood said that he was aware most other counsel were engaged in the Supreme Court. Until late morning, when the sitting adjourned, the Authority had granted four transfers of continuous taxicab service licences. They were to: Allan Joseph Gallagher, 11 Greenhurst street, Christchurch from Noble David Morton, Christchurch; Ross Graeme Galt, 63 Hoon Hay road, Christchurch, from Erie Clifford Hughey, Christchurch; William Rutherford Turner, 3 Erin crescent, Christchurch, from David Robert Hoskins. Christchurch.
