Scenic Covers On Directories
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 21. The Post Office will supply pictorial covers for telephone directories next year. The first directory with the new cover will be issued about the middle of 1967, and the other 17 will be changed in the succeeding 12 months. The Postmaster-General (Mr Scott) said today that both the front and back of the cover would display a coloured photograph. All advertising would be removed from the cover. Scenes in the area served by the directory would be used and would be changed each issue.
