W’worths Plan For D.C.
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 22. Woolworths N.Z. Ltd., has appropriated £lO,OOO to meet the cost of changing to decimal currency. The directors annual report states that the costs involved relate primarily to the purchase of new machines and the expense of training staff in all the company’s stores. Planning for the change-over started nearly two years ago and is well advanced, directors say.
