CANDIDATE’S DIPLOMA
(K.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 20. A Labour candidate whose campaign is focused on education, now has a diploma in education to back up bis claims. The candidate, Mr B. S. Gustafson, who is standing for the Taupo seat, was told tonight he had passed the last section of hi s diploma at Massey University. Mr Gustafson, a teacher at Taupo College, said he was very surprised that he had passed. “I left a candidates’ meeting in Auckland for three hours to sit the exam„ then got back to the business of electioneering,” he said.
