Union’s Lead Cut In Rowing

Union Rowing Club is still leading in the Kerr's Reach pennant regatta series. The second of the three-regatta series was conducted by the Canterbury Rowing Club on Saturday.

However, Union will have its work-cut out to keep ahead, for out of eight races on Saturday, it toon only one—the maiden fours —compared with five victories on the first day.

Avon and Canterbury need only to win two events each to draw level with Union.

Saturday's racing was uneventful, the winning crews in the finals finishing comfortably in front.

In the maiden eights, Avon had an easy win over Christ’s College and Canterbury, while in the junior pairs, Canterbury
