Jones To Compete In Three-mile

The top Canterbury middle-distance runner, B. R. E. Jones, has withdrawn from the national cross-country trial on December 3.

He will compete for Canterbury in the triangular tournament against Otago and Southland the same day. Jones has been included in the three miles by the Canterbury selectors (Messrs K. S. Jameson. C.
