“Mona Vale” Proposal
Part of the “Mona Vale” property in Fendalton, owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is available for sale. A price of £64,000 has been mentioned. The Christchurch Regional Planning Authority is interested in creating a regional public park on the property of about 13 acres, and has asked local authorities in its region for their views on contributing to the purchase price.
All members of constituent councils of the authority have been invited to inspect the area tomorrow afternoon.
