One of the Important aspects of the conversion programme is the co-ordination of transport arrangements to bring in machines and to return them to users. This will require detailed planning on a large scale, as machines are located in even the smallest country towns.
It is estimated that 700,000 miles will be covered by vehicles before the programme ends late in 1968.
