B. Philp Earns More
(N.Z. Press Assn. — Copyright) SYDNEY, Nov. 17. Burns Philp and Company, Ltd., Sydney island trader and investor, earned a profit of 5,093,487 dollars for the 15 months to June 30. Directors estimate that on an annual basis the profit is equal to about 3,946,487 dollars, or 1,147,000 dollars more than the year before. An announced, dividend for the 15 months is 12f per cent maintaining the annual rate of 10 per cent.
