Thrown From Truck
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 18. A farmhand was fatally injured when he was thrown from a truck on the highway six miles south of Patea last night He was
Karl Francis Rask, aged 35, of Ngutuwera, Waverley.
The truck, driven by Jack Peter Albert of Opaku, Patea, skidded, flinging Mr Rask through the door to the road. He was taken to Patea Hospital, where he died early this morning.
