Lincoln Farm Brings £26,907
Mr L. Payne’s cropping and grazing property of 99 acres two roods 25 perches at Springs road, Lincoln, was sold for f 26,907 at public auction yesterday. The sale was held by the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr N. K. Aitken.
Improvements on the property, which is subdivided into six paddocks, include an eight-roomed weatherboard house, barn, stables, woolshed and headershed, implement sheds, sheepyards and loading race.
The property has been in the Payne family for more than 60 years.
