SOUTHERN LAKES
Need For Aust. Publicity Seen Because Australia had no lakes worth mentioning, New Zealand should “cash in” on boosting its many beautiful southern lakes as a major tourist attraction, the deputy president of the Sydney Chamber of Commerce (Mr W. H. Lambert) said in Christchurch. Australians, he said, would clamour to come to New Zealand lakes if they were properly publicised in Australia.
