RAISING FUNDS
Trust At St. Mary’s A parish' trust to provide finance for projects within the parish, the rest of New Zealand and overseas is being established by St Mary’s church, Merivale, to mark its centenary.
A leaflet put out by the church says that the trust will provide a tangible way to “express our thankfulness for the past and provide in some measure for the future.” The trust board has power to accept gifts, bequests, or settlements of any kind. These include shares, land, debentures, local body and Government stock, and insurance policies. An appeal is being made to all who have been associated with the parish.
