Chairs For Shoppers
Sir, —One of the aids to graceful living which is passing from us is chairs in shops for customers. I remember sitting in comfort while choosing material. If there was not a chair handy the assistant would get one from another counter. Today shopping is needlessly tiring, and I find myself shopping only in shops which supply chairs. What a good advertisement: “Shop with comfort from a chair.” —Yours, etc., TIRED FEET. November 4, 1966.
